A Good Cause
The Crisis pop-up store A Call To Garms has returned to Savile Row and is now open at No 31 until Wednesday 19th December.
A wealth of Savile Row houses (including your truly...) and top menswear labels, outfitters and cloth merchants have donated some very special pieces and all proceeds go to the homeless charity Crisis. Accessories will be priced from £10, clothing from £30, suits from £100 and new donations will hit the shop floor every day.
Last year’s A Call To Garms raised over £75,000 and the aim is to better that this time around.
There will also be a series of fund-raising events, including an Instagram TV shopping event hosted by Dermot O’Leary, performances by David Gray and DJs Fat Tony and Adamski, and an intriguing celebrity suitcase packing pack-off. The celebrated street artist Ben Eine will be graffitiing the ground floor of the premises and renowned photographer Tom Hunter will be taking portraits at a pop-up photoshoot during week two of the residency.
If you would like to donate or help out by sponsoring an evening event or in any other way contact team@popupcrisis.com. You can also keep up to date with what’s going on by following @PopUpCrisis on Instagram.
Organised, as last year, by stylist and writer Tom Stubbs and Anda Rowland, A Call To Garms II is open from 11am to 7pm at 31 Savile Row until Wednesday 19th December.
