As Richard (James himself) once said, where would we be without wool? A smaller selection of suits, for sure. Not much knitwear, handmade in Wales or otherwise. A worrying shortage of warming winter hats and scarves.
Famously natural, renewable and biodegradable, wool is a wonder. It breathes naturally and keeps you warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. And for a tailor, being wrinkle-resistant, coming in countless weaves and weights, and draping beautifully, wool produces the best all-round cloth there is to cut a suit from.
