Our SS21 Balearic Beginnings collection opens its eyes wide in wonderment and sashays back to early ‘80s Ibiza and the frolicsome, al fresco world of nascent all-night club culture.
In the ‘70s Spain’s Mediterranean White Island was known as an idyllic, underlyingly innocent bohemian backwater, but by the ‘80s - with the advent of the outdoors, under-the-stars Ku Club and ground-breaking Amnesia - it was fast gaining a reputation as the hotspot for full-scale satiation.
This is a breezy, very easy-wearing and coruscatingly colourful collection that captures the louche, free-thinking and let-loose attitude of the time.
