Great Pitti
A 2006-vintage Richard James Bespoke camouflage suit in the esoterically titled A Short Novel On Men's Fashion, Thirty years at Pitti Immagine Uomo. A work of non-fiction, the book looks at the history of said celebrated menswear trade show and parade ground for preeners and serves as a guide to the exhibition of the same name, which is at the Palazzo Pitti Museo della Moda e del Costume in Florence until 29th September.
This is the second such suit that we have donated to a museum, having also given one to to the V&A, which it included in its Fashioned from Nature exhibition last year.
